Fans encouraged to wear white and Frost The Fortress for annual matinee
The Vegas Golden Knights announced today plans for their Nevada Day game on Friday, October 25, at T-Mobile Arena.
They will face off against the Ottawa Senators at a 3 p.m. PT puck drop, celebrating the state holiday that marks Nevada’s admission to the Union in 1864. This game, along with the 11 a.m. PT matchup featuring the Henderson Silver Knights at Lee’s Family Forum, is presented by Travel Nevada.
Fans attending the game at T-Mobile Arena are encouraged to “Frost The Fortress” by wearing white to coordinate with the special jerseys the team will don for this home game. The pregame festivities will include subtle changes to align with the “Frost The Fortress” theme. Players will sign specially designed white jerseys for auction, featuring the state of Nevada and “Nevada Day” in a vintage postcard style.
Fans can join the auction by visiting VGKNevada.givesmart.com or texting “VGKNevada” to 76278. Bidding will start at 1:45 p.m. PT and wrap up at 5 p.m. PT on Friday. Fans can check out the jerseys in person in Sections 11 and 12 on the concourse. A limited number of Nevada Day warmup pucks will also be up for purchase online and in the concourse after the puck drops. UNLV men’s basketball Head Coach Kevin Kruger and Vegas Born players DJ Thomas, Jalen Hill, and Isaiah Cottrell will be at the game, signing posters on the concourse during the first intermission. Additional Nevada Day merchandise like pucks and t-shirts will be available at The Arsenal at City National Arena and The Armory at T-Mobile Arena. A limited number of tickets remain for Friday’s game, including an Educator Appreciation Offer starting at $49.
