UNC’s RJ Davis Makes Major Announcement Before NCAA Tournament
RJ Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels are gearing up for a matchup against the San Diego State Aztecs in the First Four round of the NCAA Tournament.
North Carolina currently sits at 22-13 on the season with a 13-7 record in ACC play. They were recently defeated by the Duke Blue Devils in the ACC Tournament and were officially swept by their rival, 0-3, on the season.
Before the Tar Heels take the court against San Diego State, Davis took to social media, sharing an NIL deal he has signed. Davis has inked a deal with Celsius ahead of March Madness, sharing a photo with the energy drink brand.
“Tournament ready with Celsius,” Davis captioned the post.

Davis adds Celsius to his long list of NIL deals, having already signed partnerships with the following brands: Simple Truth, Mt. Olive Pickle Juicers, Marriot Hotels, ZIPS Car Wash, Reebok, Harry’s, Skims, Fortnite, crocs, Keurig, CVS Pharmacy, Wingstop, Intuit TurboTax, Athletic Brewing Company, Hanes, JBL Audio, Rhoback and Mondelez.
So far this season, Davis has served as the Tar Heels’ No. 1 option on the offensive end. He’s posted 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
