Tar Heel Nation just got the update they’ve been waiting for
The North Carolina Tar Heels should finally have their 2025-26 basketball roster all together next week for the first time all offseason.
With Hubert Davis and his staff putting together a new roster after losing key players from last year, the Tar Heels were waiting on clearance from overseas guard Luka Bogavac. And now they have some clarity.
Per Sherrell McMillan of Inside Carolina, Bogavac is expected to arrive on campus as early as next week, ending the waiting game for him and the Tar Heels.
Luka Bogavac has cleared the next hurdle in his path to play college basketball. The Carolina Basketball signee from Montenegro has been granted his student visa and is expected to arrive in Chapel Hill to join the team next week, multiple sources confirmed to Inside Carolina on Tuesday.
That’s huge news for the Tar Heels who were awaiting that clearance of the talented guard from Montenegro, as he is a key piece to the Tar Heels’ roster for next season. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard committed to UNC back in May but did not immediately arrive on campus, awaiting his student visa.
Bogavac averaged 14.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game last season.
