UNC Basketball is set to announce another commitment from a four-star recruiting target

A four-star UNC basketball recruiting target visited Chapel Hill five weeks ahead of his decision date.

This weekend, UNC basketball hosted Isaiah Denis, a senior from Davidson Day School (N.C.), marking the first of Denis’s four official visits over consecutive weekends. The 6-foot-5, 175-pound guard has confirmed that he will announce his decision on Nov. 2.

On Sunday afternoon, Denis shared photos from his official Tar Heel photoshoot along with a hype video showcasing his three-day experience in Chapel Hill.

Denis, a Rising Prospect, Receives Offer from UNC Basketball Coach Hubert Davis

Denis, a promising player who received an offer from UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis and his staff in July, is currently ranked No. 62 overall, No. 9 among combo guards, and No. 2 in North Carolina on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.

He has narrowed his choices down to a top 10, which includes UNC, Ohio State, Pitt, Michigan, Tennessee, Miami, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Kansas, and Mississippi State.

Next on Isaiah Denis’s visit schedule is a trip to Wake Forest, following visits to Miami, Ohio State, and Pitt. He will also visit Tennessee and Kansas before finalizing his travels ahead of his announcement day.

Last week, the UNC basketball coaches kicked off their success on the 2025 recruiting trail when Derek Dixon, a four-star guard from Gonzaga College High School (D.C.), who is ranked No. 47 overall and No. 6 among combo guards on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, made his verbal commitment to the Tar Heels.
