Two Bengals Players Welcome Newborn Daughters on Same Day in Same Hospital

Teammates Evan McPherson, the kicker, and linebacker undefined both welcomed daughters on the same day, Friday, March 15, making them both “girl dads.” Remarkably, their daughters were born in the same hospital, adding an extra layer of serendipity to the occasion.

In a heartwarming moment, McPherson and his wife, Gracie, and Wilson and his wife, Morgan, captured a photo in the hospital cradling their newborn daughters, affectionately dubbed the “birthday twins.” The McPhersons chose the name Merritt Hayes for their daughter, while the Wilsons named their daughter Kambry James.

The NFL shared a post featuring images of McPherson and Wilson proudly wearing “girl dad” shirts and a hat, commemorating this special and unlikely coincidence.

 

 

Numerous Bengals teammates expressed their congratulations on the individual social media posts of the two players as they welcomed their baby daughters.

Having been teammates since 2021 when McPherson joined the team, these two Bengals players will forever hold a unique connection and a notable shared anniversary, regardless of their paths in their NFL careers moving forward.
