Coming out of high school, Donaldson was a highly rated 4-star point guard who spent two years playing for the Tigers. During the 2023-2024 season, he maintained averages of 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game, often sharing starting responsibilities with Holloway during the season.
After entering the transfer portal on April 3, Donaldson’s recent commitment this weekend marks him as the fourth player to pledge to join the Wolverines as part of the rebuilding effort led by Dusty May.
Auburn football secures the commitment of ex-Indiana defensive lineman Philip Blidi.
During the weekend, Auburn football received its initial commitment after spring practice. Philip Blidi, a former defensive lineman from Indiana, received an offer from the Tigers on March 25 and visited the campus officially during the weekend of April 15.
The graduate transfer spent his initial three years playing football at Texas Tech before making a move to Indiana, where he had his most impressive season to date, registering 30 tackles and four tackles for loss. Despite being courted by LSU, Washington, and Oklahoma, he opted to forgo his visit to Norman after visiting Auburn’s campus.
Blidi’s addition is a significant acquisition for Auburn football’s defense as they strive to fill the void left by departing talent from the previous season. He is the third defensive line transfer for the Tigers during the offseason, joining Gage Keys and Trill Carter. This move enhances the experienced presence within a position group brimming with promising young talent. It is anticipated that the Tigers will continue to target additional transfers from the transfer portal.
