Top Transfer Portal Player Has Clear Message for Auburn’s Bruce Pearl

The Auburn Tigers have been widely considered one of the best college basketball programs in the nation, under the leadership of head coach Bruce Pearl. Pearl and the Tigers are fresh off a strong NCAA Tournament showing, having reached the Final Four. Auburn earned wins over Michigan State, Michigan, Creighton and Alabama State.
They ultimately lost to Florida in the Final Four. During their March Madness run, Pearl and his staff spent time recruiting one of the top players in the transfer portal, KeyShawn Hall. Hall committed to Auburn after playing with the UCF Knights this past season.
Following his commitment, Hall joined “The Next Round” podcast, where he revealed his thoughts on Pearl. The top transfer showed high praise for Pearl after committing to the SEC powerhouse.
“He showed so much dedication and he seemed so genuine, with the things he could help me with” Hall said. “Auburn, the last couple of years has been a winning program and that’s something that I want to be a part of.”
Last season with the Knights, Hall posted 18.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
During his three-year college career, Hall has averaged 15.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Before playing for the UCF Knights, Hall played one season at George Mason and one season at UNLV.
Hall will now help Pearl to replace Naismith Player of the Year finalist Johni Broome. He led Auburn with 18.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game.
