Top Stories: Sports reporter hinted at new stories involving Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson
Sports journalist Pablo Torre has hinted that more developments are on the way involving Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson. While he didn’t reveal any fresh details during his appearance Wednesday, Torre suggested he’s currently working on a story surrounding the high-profile pair.
Belichick is preparing for his debut season coaching at North Carolina, while Hudson has kept a low profile after facing public scrutiny and reports suggesting she sought significant influence over Belichick’s media image.
Torre remained tight-lipped, only saying he had something “in the works.” With the college football season about two months out, fans are anxiously awaiting any off-field updates involving Belichick.
“I don’t have anything exclusive to break right now,” Torre said on The Dan Patrick Show. “But I’ve got stuff cooking. People think I’ve become a serious journalist because of the NFLPA story, but nope—I’m still digging around in the mud. And I plan to call you from there soon.”
More Turmoil Brewing Between Belichick and Hudson?
When Belichick’s buyout dropped drastically—from $10 million to just $1 million—on June 1st, some speculated he might exit college football before he even started. Still, Torre believes Belichick will stay on the sidelines for the upcoming season, regardless of Hudson’s involvement behind the scenes.
“I think he’ll coach in 2025,” Torre said. “But I’d put the over-under at one season. Personally, I think he’s done after this year.”
Though the drama between Belichick and Hudson has quieted recently, the most notable headline involved Hudson seemingly shading Belichick’s ex, Linda Holliday.
According to TMZ Sports, tensions between Hudson and Holliday go back to a Christmas party in Nantucket. Holliday reportedly found Hudson and her friend, beauty pageant contestant Melissa Sapini, inappropriate guests due to her daughters being featured DJs. She allegedly asked them to leave.
In a recent Instagram post congratulating Sapini on her pageant success, Hudson seemed to subtly call out Holliday. “You’ll keep shining,” she wrote, “growing and holding your ground—even when others threaten you and insist you don’t belong, like the so-called ‘Nantucket Socialites’…”
TMZ also reported that Holliday warned Sapini about the company she keeps, allegedly telling her she should reconsider her friendships if she “valued her title,” and claiming she had powerful connections in the pageant world.
