The USC Trojans Receives Massive Commitment News from Elite Playmaker

The USC Trojans have a long history of producing big-time talent at the wide receiver position with standouts like Lynn Swann, Keyshawn Johnson and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Joining the top recruiting class in 2026 thus far, four-star receiver Trent Mosley committed to the Trojans on Tuesday.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound pass-catcher committed to USC over offers from Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Michigan, Oregon and others. The Rancho Santa Margarita, California, native has 170 catches, 2,599 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns over 29 games in his three high school seasons.

Speaking about his choice of Lincoln Riley and the Trojans, Mosley felt a connection with the college football powerhouse, according to On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

“I really enjoyed spending time with the coaches and hearing more about the vision,” Mosley said.

“It feels like they are close to building something special.” As a sophomore, Mosley had a huge season, catching 81 passes for 1,282 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also had 270 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.

Mosley is the younger brother of Emmett Mosley, a Stanford commit from the 2024 class.

Both of his parents played sports at Notre Dame, with his father, Emmett, on the football team and his mother, Cindy, a standout star on the soccer team.

She won the Hermann Trophy in 1996, given to the nation’s top women’s soccer player.
