The NFL Releases Incredible Renderings Of Draft Setup In Green Bay

The NFL Draft will be coming to Green Bay in a little more than two months.

On Thursday, the league released renderings of what the setup will look like.

The “draft theater” is in line to be set up in the northeast parking lot at Lambeau Field and will spread out onto Oneida St. Camera shots of the crowd on TV by the draft stage will feature Lambeau Field in the background.

“It’s exciting to see these renderings. The draft is really starting to take shape,” Packers president Mark Murphy said. “It looks like a great setup. All fans and attendees will be treated to an exciting event, and we’re proud to have Lambeau Field featured so prominently.”

This will be Murphy’s last big project coming to fruition before he is set to retire in July. It’s a vision that’s been in the works for years by Murphy and is somewhat fitting to be taking place right before his retirement.

Over in the Titletown development area, there will be an “NFL Experience” that covers 800,000 square feet. Per the Packers, the area will feature a Play 60 zone for kids, NFL exhibits, food and beverage areas, and much more. The football field in Titletown will be used as part of this.

The city of Green Bay has gone all out to host the draft, and rightfully so. Houses around Lambeau Field already have signs posted to call and reserve parking spots in front yards. NFL Draft apparel has been available for purchase at the Packers Pro Shop since last season.

The images released by the NFL on Thursday help visualize the scene and provide even more excitement as the draft inches closer.
