The series opener between Kentucky and South Carolina, originally scheduled for Friday night, has been postponed to Saturday.
A doubleheader will now take place on Saturday, starting with the first game at 2:30 p.m. EST, followed by the second game 30 minutes after the first concludes. The series finale on Sunday is still set for 1:00 p.m. EST.
This weekend’s match against South Carolina will be Kentucky’s third doubleheader of the season due to rain. The Wildcats previously split doubleheaders with Lipscomb and the ninth-ranked Ole Miss.
This series holds significance for both teams, as Kentucky aims to potentially host a third consecutive Regional, while South Carolina currently sits outside of NCAA Tournament contention.
