BREAKING NEWS: Steelers Reportedly on the “VERGE” of Signing Brilliant Former Saints WR

The Pittsburgh Steelers are likely to acquire a new starting boundary receiver before the start of Week 1, potentially through a trade or free agency. Courtland Sutton and Treylon Burks are considered top options, but recent reports suggest the Steelers have engaged with Michael Thomas, a former Saints wide receiver who is currently a free agent.

Thomas had exceptional performances in 2018 and 2019, earning two All-Pro selections and recording impressive reception numbers of 125 and 149 in those seasons. His 149 receptions in 2019 established an NFL single-season record. However, starting from 2020, injuries have limited his playing time significantly, with only 20 games played since then. In the previous season, he managed 39 receptions in 10 games. Despite his recent challenges, the former Offensive Player of the Year, who recently celebrated his 31st birthday, remains a notable talent in the league.
