ESPN’s Bill Connelly has unveiled his returning production metrics for the 2025 college football season, placing Cincinnati at 12th among FBS teams with 68% of their production coming back. The defense is set to be bolstered with several key players returning.
Leading the way on defense are standout players Dontay Corleone and Jake Golday, who are part of a solid veteran group that improved over the course of the season under first-time defensive coordinator Tyson Veidt. On the offensive side, Cincinnati will see the return of quarterback Brendan Sorsby, experienced center Gavin Gerhardt, and primary tight end Joe Royer.
