Oklahoma guard Duke Miles is entering the transfer portal, according to a report.

That news was shared by On3’s Joe Tipton on Wednesday morning. Miles started 34 games for the Sooners this year alongside Jeremiah Fears in their back court. He averaged 9.4 points and 2 assists per game as he helped bring Oklahoma to its first NCAA Tournament appearance under Porter Moser.

Miles is a significant loss for the Sooners. The veteran guard likely would have had a big role for Oklahoma in 2025-26 had he decided to remain in Norman. Instead, he’ll head to the transfer portal in search of a new destination for his final year of eligibility.

With Fears almost certainly headed to the NBA Draft, Oklahoma will need to replace most of its guard production from this past season. Guards Kobe Elvis and Brycen Goodine are also not expected back as they’ve exhausted their collegiate eligibility.

Dayton Forsythe seems primed for a bigger role next season after impressing as a freshman, but OU will need to pick up at least a couple of options in the transfer portal as well.

To that end, Oklahoma reportedly hosted TCU transfer point guard Frankie Collins on a visit earlier this week.

Oklahoma does not yet have any transfer commitments this offseason.
