Finney joined the Cincinnati football staff as a defensive quality control assistant in the spring of 2024 and played a significant role in developing the cornerbacks, who showed substantial improvement last season compared to 2023.
Before coming to Clifton, Finney spent seven years at Iowa Western Community College, serving as the defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator. He helped lead the Reivers to consecutive NJCAA championships in 2022 and 2023.
