BREAKING: sensational key defender faces surgery after injury news at Goodison Park

Everton defender Nathan Patterson is set to undergo surgery for a hamstring injury, as reported by the Scottish Daily Mail

According to the newspaper’s print edition on April 22nd (page 67), it’s highly likely that the defender will miss the European Championships with Scotland.

While Sean Dyche has confirmed Patterson’s absence for the rest of the season, the prospect of surgery adds another setback to his situation.

Everton will be without Nathan Patterson for the remaining Premier League matches

Everton bounced back from the three injuries sustained during their victory over Chelsea by defeating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Goodison Park. Defender Jarrad Branthwaite started the game and contributed to a clean sheet for Everton, despite having been substituted earlier in the match due to an injury concern.

Unfortunately, Nathan Patterson and Seamus Coleman were not as fortunate, as they both were unable to play due to their respective injuries. Coleman was substituted during halftime at Stamford Bridge and was replaced by Patterson. However, Patterson, the 22-year-old Scotsman, was unable to complete the entire match.
