Mark Pope and his staff did just that for the BBN by securing a commitment from Mouhamed Dioubate, a transfer forward from Alabama Crimson Tide.
After two successful seasons in Tuscaloosa, Dioubate brings a tough edge to the upcoming Kentucky Wildcats squad, which will be crucial for success in the SEC.
Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 215 pounds, the New York native averaged 7.2 points per game, shooting 62% from the field and 46% from three-point range this season. He also contributed 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
With Dioubate joining the team, the Wildcats now have three transfer commitments, including Jaland Lowe and Kam Williams. Who will be next? The spotlight is now on Wesley Yates and Jaron Pierre.
Adding one of those players, along with potentially Alvaro Forgueiras, would make this roster even stronger.
Now, let’s check out how Twitter reacted to the news of Mo Dioubate’s commitment!

Kentucky did as good of a job as any program in college basketball last spring at allocating its resources properly in an effort to construct a TEAM.
Love the way the Wildcats are doing the same so far in 2025.
Not acquiring talent, but building a TEAM! https://t.co/1XQRSr0uFQ
