Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has finalized a groundbreaking six-year, 330millioncontract,whichincludes 250 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter. This new agreement will keep Allen as the Bills’ starting quarterback through the 2030 NFL season.
The $ 250 million guaranteed amount is reported to be the highest ever given to an NFL player, as sources inform ESPN.

With Allen winning the 2024 AP NFL MVP award in February, the timing of this contract could not be better. There has been anticipation surrounding Allen’s new deal for a while, as he had been playing well below the current market value for quarterbacks. He was scheduled to earn only 14.5millionincashfor2025,andhisaverageannualsalarywas 43 million, ranking him 14th among NFL quarterbacks.

Under the terms of his previous contract, Matt Warren noted that Allen’s cap hit was set to be the largest of his career to date. While the specifics of Allen’s new deal are still pending, it remains to be seen whether his cap hit will be lower than what it was under the prior contract structure.
During the 2024 NFL season, Allen showcased the most efficient football of his career, consistently breaking Bills and NFL records. He completed 307 of 483 passes (63.6%) for 3,371 yards, throwing 28 touchdowns and six interceptions (77.7 QBR). In addition to his new NFL contract, Josh Allen has ventured into entertainment production by signing a deal with Skydance Sports, LLC. Further details about this project have yet to be disclosed, but it may be similar to the work produced by Peyton Manning with Omaha Productions.
