SCOTT Drew & The Baylor Bears Announce Big News Following Another Huge Commitment Of A Top Player
On Sunday afternoon, Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears strengthened their roster by securing a commitment from Juslin Bodo Bodo, a transfer from High Point.
Bodo Bodo is a 7-foot sophomore hailing from Yaoundé, Cameroon, and he has played two seasons with the Panthers, starting every one of the 71 games he participated in.

Jeff Goodman from The Field of 68 first reported that Baylor has secured High Point transfer Juslin Bodo Bodo. The 7-foot sophomore had a season average of 5.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks, making him the top player in the nation for offensive rebound percentage.
In 2024, Bodo Bodo recorded 5.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game with an impressive shooting percentage of 64.3%. His rebounding stats are remarkable, featuring an outstanding 18.2% offensive rebounding rate. He also achieved an offensive rating of 128.8 while maintaining a usage rate of 13.7%.
After graduating from SoCal Academy in the Class of 2023, Bodo Bodo was rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports, ranking 35th at his position and 32nd among players in Cameroon.

The transfer portal officially opened on March 24, 2025. According to NCAA data, during the 2023-24 school year, 1,296 FBS basketball players entered the transfer portal, with 864 (66.7%) being undergraduates and 432 (33.3%) graduate transfers. Among those, 70% enrolled in another institution, 6% withdrew from the portal, and 23% are either still active, transferred to a non-NCAA program, or left the sport altogether.
