SAD: Tailgating will make a comeback for the Detroit Lions game versus the Tennessee Titans, but there are still some challenges.

Beginning Sunday, Oct. 27, tailgating will be back, but with some significant adjustments, according to the President of the Eastern Market Partnership. “We’re excited to welcome Lions fans back to Eastern Market for tailgating,” stated Katy Trudeau. “Tailgating will now commence at 9 a.m. for the 1 p.m. game, instead of the previous start time of 7 a.m.”

The Detroit Lions welcomed three new players on Wednesday while bidding farewell to defensive tackle Sammie Hill.

The former Lions defensive tackle inked a three-year contract with the Tennessee Titans today. Hill will make $11.4 million, with $4 million guaranteed. Last season, Hill earned $1.25 million with the Lions.

This decision is not surprising, as Detroit chose not to go after Hill in free agency this offseason. Currently, Detroit’s backup defensive tackles are Ogemdi Nwagbuo and Jimmy Saddler-McQueen.
