SAD: Auburn 5-star RB critical after shooting; brother killed

After his brother, Tommie Battie IV, was killed in a shooting early on Saturday morning in Florida, Brian Battie, an Auburn kick returner and running back, is still in serious condition.

Head coach of the Tigers Hugh Freeze announced on Monday that Brian Battie is still on a ventilator after suffering a “setback” on Sunday night. There was a gunshot in Sarasota.
