TCU Football has added another talented prospect to its 2025 recruiting class, securing a commitment from three-star outside linebacker Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek on Friday evening. Williams, who was previously committed to the Texas Longhorns, has now flipped his pledge to the Horned Frogs after reopening his recruitment last month. According to the 247Sports Composite ranking, Williams is ranked as the No. 56 linebacker in the class and a top-100 prospect in the state of Texas.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds, Williams is the 11th member of TCU’s 2025 recruiting class, with six of those commits being linebackers or defensive linemen. The Horned Frogs’ 2025 class is currently ranked 20th nationally and second in the Big 12 conference. Williams chose TCU over 21 other offers, including Auburn, Oregon, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.
Over the course of his first two varsity seasons with Shadow Creek High School, Williams has amassed impressive defensive stats, recording 56 tackles (12 for loss), one sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery. His standout sophomore campaign earned him the District Defensive Newcomer of the Year award.
