Raptors News: NBA Announces Two New Regular Season Games For Toronto

SHARE The Toronto Raptors have completed their full 82-game schedule. The NBA has revealed two additional regular season games for all teams that did not make it to the NBA Cup knockout stage. On December 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Raptors will travel to Miami to play against the Heat, followed by a home game against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena on December 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Raptors have already faced the Heat twice this season, splitting the games, while this will be their first encounter with the Bulls. The updated schedule provides the Raptors with a three-day break between these two new regular season matchups. Toronto finished their NBA Cup schedule with a victory over the Indiana Pacers, securing fourth place in Group B. The Milwaukee Bucks went undefeated and progressed along with the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks, while the Orlando Magic took the wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. In the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, and Golden State Warriors emerged as group winners, with the Dallas Mavericks competing as the wild card team.

The NBA Cup knockout stage kicks off on December 10 and 11, with the winners of the first-round matches advancing to Las Vegas for the semifinals on December 14. The championship game is scheduled for December 17. The Los Angeles Lakers were the champions of the inaugural NBA Cup last year.

Toronto is considering trading Bruce Brown.

He has not yet played for the Raptors this season due to his recovery from knee surgery during the offseason. Despite this, he remains a frequent topic in trade discussions. According to Michael Scotto from HoopsHype, Brown is anticipated to be traded before the upcoming deadline.
