BREAKING NOW: Giants says goodbye to two key players 2

SEPT 25 OUT The Giants are preparing to face Dallas and cover All-Pro receiver CeeDee Lamb, but they will be short-handed. Before the Thursday Night Football matchup with the Cowboys, the Giants have declared cornerbacks Adoree’ Jackson (calf) and Dru Phillips (calf) out. Moreover, receiver Darius Slayton (thumb) is listed as questionable.

SEPT 25 BROTHERS There are reasons to suspect—and in New York, reasons to hope—that the Dallas Cowboys are struggling. Their 1-2 record mirrors that of the Giants, who host Dallas on Thursday night. Recent sideline antics and poor performance contribute to this perception, although CeeDee Lamb contests it. He acknowledged he “failed” in the 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but he denies any real conflict with quarterback Dak Prescott.

Lamb recorded just four catches for 67 yards, dropped another pass, and fumbled, leading to a disappointing performance for the All-Pro, who recently signed a  $ 136 million contract.  A sideline altercation between Lamb and Prescott during the Ravens game has also fueled speculation. However, Lamb stated, “Our relationship, if anything, has gotten stronger. Don’t let what’s out there fool you. We’re brothers to the end.”

SEPT 23 DINGED UP The Dallas Cowboys have fallen to 1-2 after another tough 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at AT&T Stadium. On Monday, they are trying to regroup for a quick turnaround ahead of Thursday’s game against the New York Giants, who also have a 1-2 record.

Despite both teams sharing the same record, the Cowboys’ struggles seem more embarrassing. Coordinator Mike Zimmer’s defense was unable to contain Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, who combined for 238 rushing yards. The Cowboys are now trying to mend their wounds, with DeMarcus Lawrence noted in the injury report.

SEPT 22 WIN! The New York Giants achieved their first win of the season with a 21-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns, ending a two-game losing streak. Quarterback Daniel Jones led the offense effectively in Week 3, showcasing a balanced performance. This victory was crucial for Jones, who rebounded from two difficult weeks to deliver his best game yet.

After a rough start in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings and improvement in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders, Week 3 saw Jones complete 24 of 34 passes for 236 yards, with two touchdowns and 20 rushing yards. The Giants totaled 340 yards and the defense made key stops, indicating progress on both sides of the ball. Jones’s developing command of the offense will be vital as the Giants aim to build on this momentum heading into their matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
