Notre Dame dominated Purdue in their 2024 matchup, delivering a 66-7 blowout at Ross-Ade Stadium. However, the Boilermakers are entering the 2025 season with a fresh start under new head coach Barry Odom, aiming for a major turnaround after a difficult year.
Purdue wrapped up last season with a disappointing 1-11 record, securing their only win in the season opener against Indiana State. In contrast, Notre Dame finished with an impressive 14-2 mark, reaching the National Championship Game before losing to Ohio State.
The upcoming game will mark the 87th meeting between Purdue and Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish hold a commanding lead in the all-time series, 58-26-2.
