Purdue Football Picks Up Major Commitment from Ohio Running Back

Purdue received positive news this week with a verbal commitment from a three-star running back. The team’s latest addition is a talented prospect from Akron, Ohio, who becomes the 11th player to join the Boilermakers for the 2025 recruiting class.

This 5-foot-10, 185-pound athlete chose Purdue over offers from 14 other schools, including Indiana. He is ranked as the No. 105 running back in the class and holds the position of the No. 70 player from Ohio, according to 247Sports.

After a great conversation with coach Joe Dineen, I am blessed to receive an offer and announce my commitment to Purdue University,” he shared on social media. “I am excited about the opportunity that lies ahead. I am eager to get to work, develop my skills, and grow both as an athlete and an individual.

In his junior season at East High School in Akron, he amassed impressive statistics, finishing with 1,366 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 153 carries.

He committed to Purdue over offers from schools such as Akron, Ball State, Boston College, Cincinnati, Marshall, Pitt, and Temple. He is now part of a 2025 Boilermaker recruiting class that ranks 81st nationally.
