The Green Bay Packers suddenly find themselves in one of the most competitive divisions in football. Not only did the Vikings, Lions, and Packers win at least 11 games in 2024, but Chicago got their dream head coach this off-season in Ben Johnson.
Now, Chicago could be swooping in to sign star for their defense.
Packers’ Target “Has Interest” In Joining Bears (Report)

In the offseason leading up to the 2018 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers pursued Khalil Mack, who sat out all of training camp and forced the Oakland Raiders into trading him. He ultimately was traded to the Chicago Bears.
Now, he could be joining them again:
Khalil Mack reportedly has interest in a reunion with the Chicago Bears.
Earlier this week, Chris Emma of 670 The Score, a popular Chicago sports radio station, reported that Mack is interested in a reunion with the Bears.
“Sources believe Mack has interest in a return to Chicago, where he played from 2018-21,” Emma stated. “Mack isn’t interested in the spotlight, but the vision would be for him to be a complementary piece of the defense, not the star.”
Coming into this offseason, the Bears had big needs on the offensive line, which GM Ryan Poles has swiftly addressed by trading for both Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson.

Green Bay has been linked to nearly every edge rusher on the market. Mack is no different. Whether it be through trade, free agency, or the draft, Green Bay is expected to add to the pass rush position.
