Oregon State Receives Unfortunate Transfer Portal News
A key young player for Oregon State men’s basketball is joining several of his teammates in the transfer portal.
Redshirt sophomore guard Liutauras Lelevicius has entered the portal, a source confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive on Wednesday.
Lelevicius averaged 8.7 points and four rebounds per game this season for the Beavers, his first season in college basketball by way of Lietkabelis in the top Lithuanian professional league.

The 6-7, sharpshooting guard stepped into a leading role for OSU in a narrow loss to Central Florida in the College Basketball Crown tournament, scoring a career-high 20 points. Oregon State was down to just eight scholarship players, with typical reserves stepping into the starting lineup with the team besieged by the portal.
Lelevicius marks the fifth OSU player and fourth starter to enter the portal since the regular season ended, and the first since the Beavers bowed out of the Crown tournament. Nate Kingz committed to Syracuse earlier on Wednesday, and Michael Rataj committed to Baylor on Monday.
