Oregon Ducks Receives Unfortunate Recruiting News on a Monday Morning

Four-star offensive lineman Bott Mulitalo decommits from Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks are losing a four-star commit from the 2026 class who is changing positions.

Bott Mulitalo, who committed to the Ducks in December as a defensive lineman, is switching his focus to the offensive line and reopening his recruitment. Blair Angulo of 247Sports first reported the news.

Mulitalo — hailing from American Fork, Utah — is rated the No. 11 offensive tackle and No. 139 overall player in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He has played both sides of the ball during high school but is shifting his recruiting focus toward the offensive line moving forward.

Among those in pursuit following Mulitalo’s decommitment from Oregon include BYU, USC, Utah and Washington.

Oregon’s No. 2 rated 2026 recruiting class now has nine players: five-star tight end and basketball player Kendre Harrison (North Carolina); four-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene (California); four-star running back Tradarian Ball (Texas);

four-star defensive linemen Tony Cumberland (Oregon) and Tohumini Topui (California); four-star linebacker Tristan Phillips (California); four-star safety Xavier Lherisse (Florida); three-star defensive lineman Viliami Moala (Oregon) and three-star edge rusher Dutch Horisk (California).
