The Associated Press published its preseason top 25 poll on Monday morning.
Ole Miss is No. 21, and Alabama is No. 8.
Texas is No. 1, followed by Penn State, Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia.
Ten Southeastern Conference teams made the poll, including LSU, South Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

Ole Miss’ season begins on Aug. 30 at home against Georgia State. Alabama’s first game is on the same day at Florida State.
