Winners of five of the last six games, Oklahoma State remained in contention for the top spot in the Big 12 Conference, pulling within one game of Kansas State with a 30-point win over the Wildcats on Saturday, earning the Cowgirls NCAA.com Team of the Week honors.

Senior guard Anna Gret Asi drilled a career-high eight 3-pointers and scored 24 points, while sophomore guard Stailee Heard had a 21-point, 11-rebound double as Oklahoma State blitzed No. 12 Kansas State 85-55. Junior guard Micah Gray backed Asi and Heard with 19 points. Asi added six assists in the win, with the 30-point margin matching the largest win against a ranked team in school history.

With the win, Oklahoma State improved to 19-4 overall and 9-3 in the Big 12. The win came eight days after a 17-point (54-37) loss at West Virginia on Feb. 1. The Cowgirls now trail Kansas State, TCU and Baylor by one game in the Big 12 standings, posting wins over all three of those teams so far this season.

Oklahoma State now averages 78.9 points per game as a team this season, holding opponents to an average of 58.3. The 20.6 points per game scoring margin ranks No. 15 in the country.

Up five spots to No. 20 in the latest Associated Press Top-25 Women’s College Basketball Poll, Oklahoma State will return to action on Feb. 12, hosting Arizona.
