High-upside WR T Parker commits this week
Tecumseh (Kans.) Shawnee Heights wide receiver Tyren Parker was going to announce a commitment on Monday but will now announce on Friday following a girls basketball game at his school.
Parker is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound two-way standout who had 48 tackles, two interceptions and five pass breakups on defense as a junior, but says schools see him as a wide receiver where he had 50 receptions, 1,182 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns.
He is down to a final three of Kansas, Iowa State, and Oklahoma State.
The Cyclones were his first offer and he has been to campus unofficially. He speaks highly of their fan base and staff.
The Cowboys only just offered in January of 2025, but have quickly earned a place among his top schools.
Kansas offered last summer, are the in-state school, and Parker has good relationships. We have seen the Jayhawks as the team to beat throughout this recruitment.
247Sports sees Parker as a top ten junior in a good Kansas junior class.
