Several top-ranked prospects with connections to Syracuse basketball are set to participate in a USA Basketball event next month in Colorado.
According to an announcement, 83 players from the 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028 recruiting classes will compete at a junior national team minicamp taking place from October 11 to October 13 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The athletes and coaches for the minicamp were chosen by the USA Basketball men’s developmental national team committee.
As stated in the press release, participants will engage in on-court drills and scrimmages, as well as educational programs focusing on eligibility and life skills development.
Several 4-star and 5-star recruits associated with Syracuse basketball will compete at the USA Basketball minicamp. Here’s a list of those invited who hold scholarship offers from the Orange coaching staff:
2025 Class
Sadiq White Jr: A five-star forward ranked among the top 15 nationally by ESPN, White verbally committed to Syracuse in late May. He’s currently a senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and is scheduled to take an official visit to Syracuse this weekend.
Kiyan Anthony: A four-star shooting guard and top-30 national prospect, Anthony includes Syracuse in his top six. He’s a senior at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., and visited Syracuse officially in late October of last year, followed by a recent in-home visit with the coaching staff.
Deron Rippey Jr: A five-star point guard and top-15 national prospect, Rippey is a junior at Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J. He took an unofficial visit to Syracuse on Jim Boeheim Day in late February and is expected to schedule an official visit to the Orange in the future.
2027 Class
Baba Oladotun: The Syracuse coaching staff offered Oladotun, an elite forward from the DMV area, a scholarship in late June. A sophomore at James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, Md., he is ranked in the top five of his class by several recruiting services, with ESPN listing him as the No. 1 prospect in the 2027 cycle.
