Earlier this week Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins announced his plans to enter the 2025 NFL draft after winning a national title in his lone season with the Buckeyes. “My time here at Ohio State was like no other,” Judkins told ESPN in a phone interview. “It was like no other place I’ve ever been.

You get to compete against the best players. It helped me sharpen my tools.” His decision to enter the NFL draft wasn’t the only news of the week for Judkins. Earlier this week he was named to the Academic All-America Second Team after completing an impressive academic workload with the Buckeyes.
Judkins leaves the school with a 3.64 GPA in Human development and family sciences, according to the Academic All-America Team announcement this week. The star running back finished the 2024 college football season with 1,060 yards on the ground, while catching 22 passes for 161 yards and scoring 16 touchdowns for the Buckeyes. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has Judkins ranked as the No. 5 running back in the 2025 draft class.
