Nottingham Forest have secured the signing of ‘fantastic’ player ahead of Premier League rivals

Nottingham Forest faces a demanding summer as they aim to strengthen their squad to steer clear of another Premier League relegation struggle in the upcoming season.

Even though the Reds must prioritize complying with profit and sustainability regulations (PSR), they definitely could benefit from increasing their incoming transfers to boost their team’s strength.

Currently, it appears that Forest are close to finalizing a deal for a player with significant Premier League background on a free transfer, which will enhance their attacking capabilities.

TBR Football insiders have verified that Forest are on track to complete the acquisition of Che Adams. Earlier, TBR disclosed that Wolves were near to completing a transfer deal for the Scottish player.

However, Forest has now made a decisive move and is close to finalizing an agreement to bring the Southampton striker in, as Adams has decided not to prolong his tenure at St Mary’s.

As per TBR’s information, Wolves had agreed on initial terms, but complications involving bonuses and other financial aspects have emerged, enabling Forest to capitalize on the situation.

Nottingham Forest is close to sealing the deal for the signing of Che Adams.

This transfer seemed uncertain at times, but it appears that the Reds are close to finalizing the deal.

Adams would be a valuable addition to Forest, especially since Taiwo Awoniyi struggled with injuries last year. The 27-year-old forward is described as “fantastic,” approaching his peak years, boasting a solid goal-scoring record.

He was born in Leicester, which could mean he’d be nearer to his family if he moves to Forest from Southampton. During his time at Birmingham City, Adams received high praise, being compared to Ronaldo and Jermain Defoe by former teammates, per The Guardian.

As Southampton secured promotion back to the Premier League, Adams contributed with 17 goals and six assists in 46 games last season. Let’s hope the deal is finalized soon, and an official announcement should follow shortly.
