Nittany Lions Gets Unfortunate Recruiting News
Penn State offensive line commit flips to ACC school’s 2026 class

Offensive lineman Roseby Lubintus flipped his commitment from the Nittany Lions to Syracuse. He initially pledged to James Franklin on April 25, one day before the Blue-White Game.
From Timber Creek High School in New Jersey, Lubintus is a three-star and the No. 996 player in the 247Sports Composite.

Penn State was the first offer for Lubintus in March, and he made an official visit to Happy Valley on May 30. He remained a frequent face for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein, attending Penn State camp three times.
Meanwhile, Lubintus has taken three visits to Syracuse. His official trip with the Orange happened on April 12, just before his PSU commitment.
With the change, Penn State now holds 24 total commitments in a class that ranks 15th nationally. The Lions have four offensive linemen, including an addition from three-star tackle Marlen Bright this past weekend.
