While the Cincinnati Bengals’ playoff hopes are slim with just two weeks remaining, the franchise and fanbase continue to hold out hope – as long as there is still a mathematical chance.
A big reason for that optimism, no matter how unlikely it may seem, is star quarterback Joe Burrow. Despite the Bengals’ 7-8 record heading into Saturday’s matchup with the Denver Broncos, Burrow is having a career year. If Cincinnati were in a more favorable playoff position, many believe Burrow would be the leading MVP candidate heading into the final weeks.
Ahead of the Broncos-Bengals matchup, the NFL made a historic announcement highlighting just how impressive Burrow’s season has been. He is now the first quarterback in NFL history to record 250+ passing yards and 3+ passing touchdowns in seven consecutive games – a remarkable feat for a player who has been among the league’s best since entering the NFL in 2020.
The first player in NFL HISTORY to do this.
Can @JoeyB make it 8-straight games with 250+ pass yards and 3+ TDs today?
