The Nebraska Cornhuskers have done an impressive job positioning themselves to attract top-tier talent from across the country and at various positions. While they’ve consistently recruited well within Nebraska, they’ve also made strides in the southern U.S., especially in Georgia.

Among the standout recruits they’ve secured recently are Dylan Raiola and Dayton Raiola, both of whom played high school football in Georgia. Their commitments have helped Nebraska establish a recruiting foothold in the Peach State, leading to interest from other top prospects—like Ryan Mosley, one of Georgia’s top wide receivers from Carrollton High School and the top target for No. 1 quarterback prospect Julian Lewis.

Mosley, a four-star recruit ranked as high as the No. 182 player nationally, drew offers from powerhouse programs including Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Nebraska. However, on Wednesday, he made his college decision and chose to stay in-state, committing to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Considered a dependable outside receiver, Mosley adds significant value to Georgia’s recruiting class. He’s the ninth-highest-rated commit overall and becomes the third wide receiver to pledge to the Bulldogs.

Mosley could end up being one of the most underrated prospects in Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class. He was arguably the top wide receiver target for the Cornhuskers and one of the biggest names on their recruiting board. While he had originally planned an official visit to Nebraska, his recent commitment likely means that visit will no longer happen.

With Mosley off the board, the Cornhuskers will now shift their attention to other wide receiver prospects. Of their four current commitments, only one is a wideout, making that position a clear priority moving forward.
