NDSU Football’s Tim Polasek Sends Message, New Developments and Steadfast Resolve as Game Day Approaches

Highlights: NDSU Football Prepares for Matchup Against Tennessee State

North Dakota State University (NDSU) football held their weekly press conference on September 3, 2024, as they gear up for their upcoming game against Tennessee State University. Head coach Tim Polasek addressed the media, discussing the team’s preparation and expectations for the game.

Polasek emphasized the importance of maintaining consistent routines throughout the week, regardless of the opponent. He stressed the need for players to watch the same amount of film, coaches to prepare the same way on Sundays, and the team to practice with great intent. Polasek also encouraged the players to enjoy the journey and respect the process while having fun on the field.

When asked about potential changes to the starting lineup, Polasek mentioned that discussions have been held to determine which players need to be pushed up and given more opportunities. He specifically mentioned the running back position as an area where the team can improve as they get healthier.

Regarding the team’s performance in the previous game, Polasek praised the special teams unit for flying around and making plays. He also highlighted the linebacker position, stating that the team has four players who have been seeing significant playing time and two more who can contribute as well.

In addition to the press conference, NDSU Athletics also announced several new enhancements to the football game day experience for fans at the Fargodome this fall. These include the Stampede March, where fans can line Albrecht Boulevard to welcome the team as they march to the stadium, and new concession options featuring traditional favorites and exciting new vendors.

The pregame show will also feature a brand-new format, with the Pride of North Dakota Gold Star Marching Band kicking off the festivities and leading into a new stadium chant and tradition. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in the Bison Lights light show powered by Xcel Energy during the team intro video.

NDSU is set to face off against Tennessee State University on September 7, 2024, at the Fargodome. With the team’s focus on consistent preparation and the exciting new game day enhancements, Bison fans can look forward to an electrifying atmosphere as the team aims for another successful season.
