MUST READ: Tiger-Cats make final roster cuts, release Honest Admission and Bennett

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have announced a significant number of roster cuts, including notable players such as receiver Omar Bayless and Canadian defensive end Mason Bennett. The team had until 10 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday to finalize its training camp transactions. In total, 29 players were released from the roster, while 10 more were added to the practice roster.

Bayless, who played in seven games during his rookie season in 2023, recorded 17 receptions for 214 yards and two touchdowns. Bennett, who played in 14 games last year, recorded five tackles and one sack.

The Tiger-Cats will begin their regular season on June 7 in Calgary.
