MUST READ: Dundee United in hunt for ex-Cheltenham Town Talented star player

Dundee United are reportedly interested in signing Will Ferry, a former Cheltenham Town left-back who is currently in high demand.

Will Ferry, a 23-year-old left-back, is a free agent after leaving Cheltenham Town following their relegation to League Two last season. Despite a disappointing campaign for the Robins, Ferry was one of their most consistent players and has garnered interest from clubs in both Scotland and England.

Having previously represented Ireland at the U/21 level, Ferry played 82 games for Cheltenham after transferring from Southampton in 2022.

Dundee United are looking for a replacement for Scott McMann, who left the club, and are also considering Will Ferry, who is being pursued by another Scottish Premiership team.

Will Ferry is seen as a suitable fit for Dundee United due to his age, growth potential, and resale value, aligning with the club’s goal of becoming a self-sustaining top-flight operation. Ferry is versatile and can play on the left side, having even been used as a winger in his youth.Additionally, Dundee United have been linked to Kristijan Trapanovski, a North Macedonian winger, and have recently offered new contracts to Louis Moult, Kevin Holt, Craig Sibbald, and Ross Graham.
