MUST READ: Bruins Brilliant Star player Named Top Trade Candidate

The Boston Bruins are poised for a significant 2024 NHL offseason, with approximately $21 million in available cap space. This provides them with ample opportunity to make multiple transactions.

Furthermore, there is a possibility that they will have even more cap space, as insider Frank Seravalli has listed Bruins star goalie Linus Ullmark as one of the top trade candidates heading into the summer. Ullmark, the 2023 Vezina Trophy winner, is ranked second on Seravalli’s list of potential trade targets.

Jeremy Swayman’s strong performance in the Bruins’ crease during the playoffs has contributed to Linus Ullmark’s high ranking on Frank Seravalli’s trade candidates list. Additionally, Ullmark is set to enter the final year of his contract, and he blocked a trade to a team on his no-trade list at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, further fueling speculation about his future with the Bruins.

Trading Linus Ullmark would involve some risk, as he is a top-tier goalie and has formed a formidable tandem with Jeremy Swayman. However, considering Swayman is the Bruins’ long-term solution in goal, and the team has significant needs elsewhere, trading Ullmark could be a strategic move at this point.

Several teams, including the Detroit Red Wings, New Jersey Devils, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, and Carolina Hurricanes, are likely to pursue Linus Ullmark this offseason.
