JUST IN: Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach Scott Milanovich Announces Another Major Signing

Dezmon Patmon, an American wide receiver, was released by the B.C. Lions and signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The San Diego, California native was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his three seasons with the organisation, he appeared in ten games and hauled in four receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown. Later on in his career, he played with the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, and Michigan Panthers of the UFL.

At Washington State University, the six-foot-four, 225-pound target caught 156 catches for 1,976 yards and 13 touchdowns in 42 games during his NCAA career. At the NFL Combine, the 25-year-old recorded times of 4.48 seconds for the forty-yard dash, 36 inches for the vertical leap, and 132 inches for the broad jump.

Nik Constantinou, a global punter selected fifth overall in the 2024 CFL Global Draft, has also signed with the Ticats. The six-foot-three, 225-pound player did not sign a contract with the Denver Broncos despite attending rookie minicamp lately.

The Melbourne, Australia native punted 191 times for an average of 42.8 yards during his 48 collegiate games at Texas A&M University. 39 of his punts went for 50 yards or more, while 77 of them came down inside the 20-yard line.

In addition, Hamilton suspended American defensive back Shabari Davis Jr. and terminated defensive lineman Jarrod Hewitt. Hewitt made eight appearances in the team’s last campaign and tallied five defensive stops.

Additionally, the Ticats announced the signing of David Menard, a defensive lineman from Canada.
