Most sought-after five-star prospect gives UNC basketball program some good news

Among the prospects that North Carolina is interested in is five-star small forward Tajh Ariza. The son of former NBA forward Trevor Ariza hails from Bellflower, California, and currently plays at St. John Bosco. He’s among the top players in the 2026 class and has now updated his recruitment.
Per Eric Bossi of 247Sports, Ariza has set some official visits with dates to three programs and another program is getting a visit down the line. Bossi reports that he will visit Oregon on Sept. 6th, North Carolina on Sept. 12, and USC on September 20th. A visit to Texas is still to be determined for the date.
Five-star Tajh Ariza may be out for the Peach Jam, but he's far from down and is working to come back better than ever. He goes in depth with @247Sports on his process, getting better and the visits he's set up (VIP) https://t.co/6yFNYwe595 pic.twitter.com/l52vIwc9jZ

The 6-foot-9, 195-pound Ariza ranks No. 8 overall, No. 2 small forward and the No. 5 player in the state of California per theĀ 247Sports recruiting rankings. He has 13 offers in his recruitment so far but will draw more interest.
