Mike Elko sends strong message directly to the 12th man ahead of game

No. 5 Texas A&M is set to take on a struggling Florida team, which is coming off a big win over a formerly ranked Texas Longhorns team. While this game looks a lot easier on paper, these two teams have a long history, and the Gators are fighting for their season and their head coach.
Florida seemed to unlock something against Texas, so with this game being at Kyle Field this week, head coach Mike Elko knows he is going to need the 12th Man on his side. The atmosphere at Kyle Field for a home game is one of the best in college football, and this is the last time the Aggies will have a home game for four weeks.
So, Elko challenged the 12th Man for the game against Florida this weekend. Elko wants the 12th Man out there to be as loud as they possibly can be because they need help in the game, but also, this is the last time they will be in that stadium for a month.
If you’re going to the Florida game this weekend…

As Elko says, this is the week to bring everything that the fans have because they will have four weeks off to rest and recover for the next home game. Elko knows that having the crowd on his side and being loud will be huge for the Aggies as they try to take down Florida quarterback DJ Lagway.
Lagway has shown that when he has the crowd to deal with, like he did against LSU a few weeks ago, it definitely affects him. Lagway against LSU threw five interceptions, which led the Gators to a tough loss.
If the Aggies can get that kind of pressure on Lagway and the crowd gets to him as well, the 12th Man will have done their job, much to the pleasure of Elko.
