Although Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri coaching staff have had a somewhat sluggish start in recruiting, signs are improving as the Tigers approach the official visit season. This month, Missouri was recognized as a finalist for six promising prospects and has also scheduled several official visits.

On Wednesday, another highly regarded player in the 2026 class, Jayden McGregory, included the Tigers among his top choices. The 4-Star athlete from Des Moines, Iowa, announced his finalists on social media, listing Missouri alongside Louisville, Minnesota, and Kansas.

The 6-foot-2, 182-pound prospect initially listed his top eight schools in February but has now condensed his options. He has official visits planned with each of his preferred schools, starting with Minnesota on May 30, followed by Missouri on June 6, Kansas on June 13, and Louisville on June 20.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is the No. 17 athlete prospect in the country and the No. 3 player in his state. Missouri’s safeties coach, Jacob Yoro, visited him at his school in Des Moines this January, suggesting that the Tigers are interested in him as a defensive player.

Official Visitors for the weekend of June 6:

  • 4-Star EDGE Asharri Charles
  • 4-Star OT Evan Goodwin – Listed Missouri as a finalist on April 11, 2025
  • 3-Star OL Brandon Anderson – Listed Missouri as a finalist on March 24, 2025
  • 3-Star TE Camden Jensen – Committed to UCLA on May 18, 2025
  • 3-Star ATH Jayden McGregory – Listed Missouri as a finalist on February 14, 2025
  • 3-Star S Bradley Brown
  • 3-Star TE Isaac Jensen – Listed Missouri as a finalist on March 7, 2025

2026 Commitments:

  • QB Gavin Sidwar, standing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 190 pounds, from Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania (Committed on April 18, 2025)
  • LB Keenan Harris, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 210 pounds, from St. Louis, Missouri (Committed on May 23, 2025)

Currently, Missouri has secured only two commitments in the 2026 recruiting class, but they are expected to host a significant number of official visitors throughout the summer, which could lead to a rapid change in their recruiting landscape under Drinkwitz and his staff.
