Massive Boost: The Missouri Tigers Receive Another Huge Development After Coach Eli Drinkwitz Personal Announcement
Although Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri coaching staff have had a somewhat sluggish start in recruiting, signs are improving as the Tigers approach the official visit season. This month, Missouri was recognized as a finalist for six promising prospects and has also scheduled several official visits.
On Wednesday, another highly regarded player in the 2026 class, Jayden McGregory, included the Tigers among his top choices. The 4-Star athlete from Des Moines, Iowa, announced his finalists on social media, listing Missouri alongside Louisville, Minnesota, and Kansas.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is the No. 17 athlete prospect in the country and the No. 3 player in his state. Missouri’s safeties coach, Jacob Yoro, visited him at his school in Des Moines this January, suggesting that the Tigers are interested in him as a defensive player.
