Eric Phillips is one of the national leaders in quarterback pressures through four games, recording 14 pressures according to PFF, along with a 66.2 pass rush grade.
Two weeks ago, this veteran disrupted Miami’s (OH) chances of maintaining the victory bell and, on Saturday, he pressured Donovan Smith with three pressures.
Cincinnati required a reliable outside rusher, and Phillips is stepping up consistently, achieving three or more pressures in every game so far. He leads a defense that has accumulated nine sacks this season, ranking 30th nationally.
