LSU Tigers Flip Target Jacob Bradford Reconsidering Houston Cougars Commitment

The Louisiana native has reopened his recruitment, with the Tigers trending and set to visit campus this weekend.

Catholic four-star safety Jacob Bradford has officially backed off his commitment to the Houston Cougars, as confirmed by a source to LSU Tigers On SI. Rivals first broke the news of his decision.

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers are actively pursuing Bradford’s commitment. After an official visit to LSU in October, he has now reopened his recruitment.

The LSU coaching staff has intensified their efforts to recruit the Baton Rouge native after extending an offer in the summer.

Bradford, who had committed to Willie Fritz and the Houston Cougars since June, has been on “Flip Watch” recently, with the Tigers now in a strong position.

“Coach Fritz has been recruiting me since his time at Tulane,” Bradford stated to Rivals over the summer. “I trust this staff and what they are about. Coach Fritz is a great coach who knows how to get the best effort out of his staff and athletes.”

Now, just three months later, Bradford has reopened his recruitment, with the Tigers increasing their efforts to secure his commitment.

“Coach Fritz has been recruiting me since his time at Tulane,” Bradford told Rivals over the summer. “I trust this staff and what they are about. Coach Fritz is a great coach who knows how to get the best effort out of his staff and athletes.”

Now, just three months later, Bradford has reopened his recruitment with the Tigers heating up in pursuit of his pledge.
