Montreal Alouettes release Canadian kicker
From 2021 to 2022, Domagala was with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he appeared in 17 games in 2022. He made 12 of 16 field goal attempts, punted 65 times with an average of 44.4 yards, and averaged 66.6 yards on kickoffs. He also spent a brief period on Edmonton’s practice roster at the start of the 2023 season.
A product of Carleton University, Domagala has made 19 of 26 career field goal attempts and 12 of 15 extra point attempts, averaging 44.4 yards per punt.
Montreal (10-1) is set to host the B.C. Lions (6-6) on Friday, Sept. 6, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
