Barr, a free agent following his previous stint with the Vikings, was allegedly not present when three individuals broke through a rear window and broke into the house on Friday at around two in the morning, according to TMZ Sports.

The burglars are thought to have made their getaway by the time the police arrived, as security cameras saw them in motion before they were called.

Although the investigation is still underway and no arrests have been made thus far, it is unknown what was taken in the crime.

Barr is one of numerous well-known people who have recently been burglarized in Los Angeles, including former NBA player Paul Pierce and American actor and comedian Marlon Wayans.

The 32-year-old had an outstanding collegiate career at UCLA before the Vikings took him with the ninth overall choice in the 2014 Draft. He has nine years of NFL experience.

During his eight seasons in Minnesota, he made 98 appearances and was selected four times for the Pro Bowl between 2015 and 2018.

Barr signed as a free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2022 after being released; however, he was not re-signed following an injury-plagued first and only season.

The guy, who was born in Indiana, rejoined Minnesota’s practice squad in November and was added to the official roster a month later. However, he did not play and left again.

Barr’s status as a free agent ahead of the 2024–25 season is still unknown, although the Green Bay Packers are reportedly interested in the former Vikings player this summer.
